About Me

I am an artist, and first and foremost a painter. My work grows out of visual exploration with different materials and carries traces of both careful planning and intuitive processes — sometimes shaped by chance. The paintings often emerge from spaces and atmospheres I encounter, as well as from inner observations and personal experience. They move between the figurative and the abstract, guided above all by a strong sense of colour.

Alongside my studio practice, I have worked in several community and socially engaged art projects.

I currently divide my time between Helsinki and Rovaniemi, Finland.
